What strikes you straight away is how empty this Mall is. This is good in one way, but unfortunately is indicative of how this Mall is failing. How the retailers manage to survive is beyond me. Most of the stuff on offer is out of date, and certainly a few seasons past.

There are some good shops here though - Karen Millen and Molton Brown for instance. I got good deals from both and also @Home had some great discounted duvet covers.

Don’t eat in the ‘Foodcourt’ though - expensive for what’s on offer. However, the ‘outside’ bar and restaurant Lime was fab for drinks and a bite to eat. If we had been in the mood we may have tried the Chinese Pond Quay too.

The Mall was clean (no customers to make it otherwise I suppose…) but we never saw any of the cleaners doing any work. The car park staff were a joy to deal with, but I couldn’t say the same for the security staff.

If you are visiting the Lowry theatre then this might be worth a visit - otherwise I can’t recommend it.
